From Baguio City to Sagada, Mt. Province was our next destination. We planned to visit the hanging coffin and the sumaging cave. The traveled took 6hrs to reach the town of Sagada.
Baguio to Sagada bus fare: Php 220 (one way)
My friends and I couldn't imagine how thick the fog was.Anyway,we were so excited to see the rice terraces of Banawe but unfortunately we couldn't because they have different designated location.
We felt sad at that very moment but not for long because according to the driver we can still see some part of it.
Even I was inside the bus I tried my best to took some photos. To tell you It wasn't easy because I felt dizzy.Wanna know why? well, going to Sagada seems so high and the road was worst than zig zag road.
This is not the Banawe Rice Terraces
Finally,We arrived safe and sound and same as usual we found a place that was near to the terminal.
"Welcome to Ganduyan Sagada Inn"
Ganduyan Inn rate per night is about Php 800 good for 3 people. This place is easy to find, it's just across the terminal.I have to say sorry because I wasn't able to take some photos inside since we were so tired but nothing to worry about the place. It is good.
It was really a fine morning when we had our tour.First,we ate breakfast
at the strawberry cafe (http://jnyvib.blogspot.com/2013/07/strawberry-cafe-sagada-mtprovince.html) then,we went to SAGGAS(Sagada Genuine Guide's Association Inc.)Where you can ask for a tour guide.
Tour Guide Fee: Php 500 (3-5 people)
We met Andrew, our tour guide of the day.He was so funny and smart. We don't have the chance to take some photo with him because we were in a hurry to catch the bus going back to Baguio.
When everything was all set.We were ready!!!
First destination was the limestone,
(the hanging coffin was right over there!!)
Second,The Hanging Coffin,
It's has been a practice in this area that coffins are made in a pine wood.
Third, The Mini Terraces of Sagada,
Lastly,The Sumaging Cave
This Cave is simply amazing and somehow it is quiet unique compare to other caves that I've ever visited. We don't need to use helmet and flashlight because the tour guide provide us a lamp to see everything clearly and to avoid accident you have to listen attentively and follow all the instructions given by the tour guide.
REMINDER::
